I don't often offer extra credit (there is no extra credit in the real world!), but occasionally...
Read this and write a two paragraph plus a position statement response. Paragraph 1=points Diamond makes that you agree with. Paragraph 2=points he makes that you disagree with. Wrap it up with a position statement: Overall do you agree or disagree with Diamond and why?
20 points extra credit toward your essay grades...
(credit will not be given after Monday, September 13)
PS... Major mad props to anyone who can tell me what a "Luddite" is in class on Thursday...
